Chewy Ginger Snaps
Food is like a time machine for taste buds. These cookies take me back circa 2010. These chewy ginger snap cookies are filled with molasse, brown sugar, and nostalgia of my mom's friend baking these special treats for my brother and me.

Is this recipe actually easy?
This recipe is so simple. I was honestly surprised how quick I made this. I mixed all the ingredients in one bowl, formed the cookie dough balls, rolled in sugar, and baked. I like my cookies to be effortless and this recipe is just that.
I've been in a BIG cookie mood lately. I don't know if that is because it is nearing Christmas or because I want my house to be warmer, so I turn on the oven. Either way, I'm here for it.

How to make?
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
White sugar to roll cookies in

To the wet mixture, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
